An online seminar was conducted on 7 October 2020 to facilitate colleagues to better prepare for the grant submissions to the Competitive Research Funding Scheme 2021/22 funded by the Research Grants Council.

During the Seminar, Professor Selina Chan, Associate Academic Vice President (University Research) has introduced the objectives of the funding schemes and points to note in preparing for a viable grant application.  Dr Nicolson Siu of Counselling & Psychology who is the Principal Investigator of a successful Faculty Development Scheme project was invited to share his tips on submitting a successful application.  Colleagues also shared their initial research ideas with each other in the Seminar.
