Cognitive Psychology Laboratory
The Cognitive Psychology Laboratory consists of two adjacent and separate rooms. The laboratory is well-equipped with ample facilities for conducting research, holding seminars and demonstrations for teaching purpose.
The main room is equipped with an instructor workstation and 12 students' personal computers for workshop and seminar purposes. Computers installed with reaction time measurement programs allow students to conduct their own cognitive research. An annex adjacent to the main room is setup for conducting experiments. It has a workstation ready for cognitive and psychophysics experiments. Matlab and E-prime are installed for writing self-programmed stimulus. Other equipment such as a pair of stereogoggles can be used for depth perception experiments, and an eye-tracker for eye-movement studies.
