Are you interested in meeting new friends around the world?

Are you learning a foreign language but having few opportunities to speak it? 

Are you an explorer of different countries and eager to know about their cultures?

The Language Centre is organizing an online language and cultural exchange and you may have a chance to do all of the above with our friends from Japan, Korea, Thailand, India, Taiwan, Italy, and Spain from all walks of life. All are able to speak English and you may communicate with them in English or a language you both can speak including Japanese, Korean, Thai, Hindi, Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, French, and German. 

The event enables you to:

• interact with speakers from different parts of the world 
• have a taste of various cultures and languages
• make new friends

Deadline for registration: first come first served

During the one-hour event, all of you will be rotated to interact with different participants. Here is the content of the event:

• Ice-breaking games 
• Interact in small groups in a language that you both feel comfortable with (you may introduce your hometown, traditions, and special festivals in your country, tourist spots, food, movies, dramas, songs, architecture etc.)
