The Wan Chow Yuk Fan Centre for Interdisciplinary Evidence-based Practice and Research(CIEBPR)- Adjustment to Life Adversities Research cluster is honored to invite Dr. KU Hok-bun Ben from the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to present his research experience with us on working at disaster situation, by adopting the examples on 5.12 earthquake in 2008. Dr. KU holds a PhD from the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at SOAS, University of London. He is the honorable professor at China Youth University for Political Sciences and is the Associate Professor, Programme Leader of Doctor in Social Work (DSW) and Sociology Panel Chair in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. We are looking forward to your attendance at the seminar and gaining fruitful insight from his sharing.
